As soon as I found out about them (last month), I told my pal in Cali. about them. He surprised me the other day and told me he's going to see the Songbirds live at Witzend in Venice this Friday (1-18-13).

I'm VERY jealous, as I've been a fan of Dannielle DeAndrea (aka Gaha) for over 4 years now, after I discovered her fantastic 2008 album, Chocolate For Holly. I remember having posted about her, here, around that time. She has such a sweet, crystal clear tone to her voice. Check out this video from 2003 of her performing with legendary English Australian singer John Farnham.
Another member of the Songbirds is Gaby Moreno. And I just might have to suggest her as an AOTM.
