I first heard about them from Firefly a couple years ago. It astounded me how much they sound as if they are channeling the spririt of another musical age - the era of the early 1970's. In that respect, they remind me of the Fleet Foxes.

While looking for a possible upload of the concert at Amoeba Music mentioned by Gary (which I could not find), I found this 12-minute set of First Aid Kit performing at the Hollywood store in 2010:
