I never really listened to the Swell Season and the way they kind of went their own separate ways was a tad disappointing. About the Wellspring, I only went to see them because I kept hearing how good they were. I wasn't disappointed and have my self a general nuisance since. It's really just Talia Osteen and Dov Rosenblatt. They were from New York, but are now based in Los Angeles. They sometimes use a percussionist/drummer and for this show a violinist. I'd seen him play a few songs with them at the Mint (another L.A. club) and his name (Jared Stein? guessing) is credited in their new CD. The drummer I knew from way back. He used to help run the shows at Room 5 back when Jay Nash booked the place, so he knows me. The drummer is Billy Hawn. He's played with some big names. I know Delta Goodrem is amongst his credits. He is a great guy and he will always come over to say "hi!" I've been trying to figure out what to put on youtube of the show, but it's pretty much their new material and not all performers like their new stuff put up on youtube.
