When I saw her last, almost a year and a half ago, she was at the Uncommon Ground on Devon Ave. This time, she was at Uncommon Ground on Clark St. Unlike the one on Devon, at this location, there's a large window on the wall opposite the stage. The performers have a nice view of all the traffic going by on Clark St. out of this window. Knowing this will set you up for this excerpt that was a half hour into the audio recording I made at the show.

Glad you got to see Meiko again, Gary! Thanks for the scoop on the show. I'd love to see Meiko sometime if she comes to Chicago. I'm sure she's AT LEAST as entertaining as Megan is, with her in-between-song stories/chatter. There was never a dull moment with Megan, either. :)
Besides having had greeted Megan before the show, she came around, during her 1st break, and spoke to my sister and I for close to 10 min. My sis thought Megan was SUPER cool, hysterical, and easy to talk to. She said she could see herself and Megan hanging out. Right before she left to go back onstage for her 2nd set, Megan asked if there was any of her songs that I'd like her to play, and I asked if she would play "Soundtracks"....which she did.
She played for almost an hour and forty minutes to a very respectful, and appreciative, audience.
My sister left the show VERY impressed with Megan, not just as a singer, songwriter, guitarist and performer, but also as a person. She's a fan now. :)
