Perhaps just the chanter of the bagpipes?
The saw orchestra was wild -- totally surreal! Reminds me of a David Lynch movie. How did they manage to get together that many saw players at the same time?
Watching the musical saw made me think of a piece by my favorite composer (and my former AOTM pick), Steve Reich. See starting at 0:47 below:
Reich writes primarily for percussion (he's a percussionist himself). He said he was looking for different tonalities using percussion, particularly a way to play long sustained notes, so he used bowed vibraphones.
BTW, the best part of this piece (IMO) is the last movement, starting from 20:30 to the end. This is a good example of his compositional technique in which he builds up a phrase bit by bit, gradually adding one or two notes at a time.
