These were great. Most of the live STG videos on youtube are either acoustic performances, or songs recorded by fans with poor sound quality. I like the acoustic versions, but IMO they lose something compared to the album versions. After all, STG is largely a synth band, and it's hard to replicate their sound without synths.
I agree, Chad has sounded better. Near the beginning of You Are the One he shouts, "Come on, help me sing!". I'm not sure if he was talking to Carah or the audience, but it sounds like he knew he needed some help. (Carah comes in and doubles his next line.)
Carah plays keyboards on Carrie, with Jeremy switching to bass. I've seen photos of Carah playing bass as well but have never seen her do this in a video of a live performance. What song(s) does she play bass on?
