Great to see Carah play bass. (I think she flubs a note at 0:27!) It looks like she's using a pick, which I find surprising. I used to play a little bass a long time ago, and for this kind of straight 8th-note part I'd think it would be easiest to pluck with two fingers.
Agreed, Chad sounds much better here. I love how they trade off lines from 3:00 to 3:33.
