Willie's Nerve Clinic was getting a fair amount of buzz, but the guitar player is having some health issues. The bass player is Dirk Lance who was known for being in Incubus. Alexa I think tries to avoid being noticed for her "looks," she usually wears no makeup. I jokingly told my friend if the band gets stopped, the police are going to pull her aside and ask if she's with them under her own free will. She's also the drummer for Saucy Monky who I've known for years. The first drummer I know they had was Adam Marcello (Katy Perry's MD and drummer) and that how I got to know him. Adam was just so popular he left because he so much in demand. He's still their friend, he's been known to show up to their gigs if he's in town and sit in for a number or two.
Karen Teperberg was another drummer, but she returned to Israel and is does a lot of drum work there. Megan Jane (a multi-instrumentalist was another and she left some time back and is in Nashville. Alexa has also been playing a lot with Lights FM, whom I've never seen yet. I first met Alexa because she was in a bunch of bands with guitarist Jennifer Trani who I met maybe 6 years ago in Jen and Abby. They were getting pretty popular in L.A., but Abby Miller's first love is the theater and she has been doing a lot of acting work. I know they are still friends and a couple of years back Jen and Abby did a one-shot charity gig I was fortunate enough to attend.
