Not trying to hijack your thread, but listening to Aaron Thomas I thought you might enjoy another Aussie, Leroy Lee. Saw him about a month ago at Lestats in San Diego. Got his EP and album. If you look on Leroy's facebook you'll see a picture of the marquee at Lestats. I posted a bit about the show in reference to a singer I know Kris Angelis who had her identical twin Alix with her to sing harmonies. The funny thing was I don't think Joe Algeri who is from Perth knew Leeroy Lee, but they seemed to get along pretty well. Of course, Joe was easily one of the friendliest performers I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Kris and Alix had to get back to L.A. (it was a Sunday night show), so they stuck around for a short while but had to leave. Joe wanted to take pictures of everyone including me and my buddy. I decided to throw in a link to an article about Joe from Bart Mendoza. Bart is a San Diego musician/writer who wrote this story.
