As far as I know, you are correct, Rick. The eponymous October Project was the first and Falling Farther In the second of two albums recorded while signed with the major Epic Records label. Less than a year after the September 1995 release of Falling Farther In, the band's contract with Epic Records was abruptly terminated in June 1996 (apparently without explanation, according to the Wikipedia article).
The band split up, and several years later Mary Fahl recorded her first EP followed by the solo album with Sony Classical. October Project has since re-formed apart from Mary. I get the impression that lot of October Project fans long for them all to be together again (a feeling we fans of the Corrs know very well). I'm just happy to have Mary Fahl back performing again and releasing this new album, Love & Gravity.
SteveW, I was noticing that you can buy some October Project sheet music here: http://octoberproject.bandcamp.com/album/new-october-project-songbook
Turning to the subject of Judy Collins, I'm a fan enough to have bought the Original Album Series (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Original-Album-Series-Judy-Collins/dp/B003097B4Q/) with five of her albums. Below, one of my favorites, a song originally by Sandy Denny, "Who Knows Where the Time Goes" (also love Kate Rusby's version; it's just a great song!):
Judy Collins has always been great at putting her own stamp on a cover version. She had a hit with a cover of the Beatles' "In My Life" and also this version of Joni Mitchell's "Both Sides Now" (which a folkie teacher made us learn in 6th grade, and maybe that's why I got around to liking her so much):
As a writer, Judy's fourth song ever was My Father, which I think is beautiful and quite interesting because of something I discovered about its chords when playing it on the piano from sheet music I found at the public library.
