I also immediately heard the similarities between "It's a Beautiful Day" and "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing" recorded by the New Seekers and made famous in the Coca-Cola commercials. I told her that at Twitter and she rehis is something that wasn't consciously done and not noticed by Joy herself until someone pointed it out to her.

My understanding is that Joy plans to release a couple songs at a time for a while and then eventually put them all together on a full-length album. In 2012, she did release four singles on physical CD at Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Joy-Valencia/dp/B0091YX508/. (She has said that she wanted this to be less expensive but Amazon wouldn't let her go below that.) I do believe that she will also release the new singles on physical CD as well. The music just came out, though, and I don't think the physical CD is available yet.

I am also a physical, tangible music kind of guy. It was Sharon Corr with "It's Not a Dream" who finally broke down my resistance and got me to sign up with iTunes. wink.gif I now use iTunes some, but I still prefer a release that I can hold in my hands and possibly get autographed, look at artwork, and read the songwriting and musical credits. Guess that makes us old-fashioned but, on the other hand, I find it interesting that vinyl is being rediscovered and appreciated these days, even discovered by people too young to have ever owned a vinyl LP back in the day.

Thanks for the information on Saba's new music. I've been checking from time to time on her progress since you introduced me to her several years ago. I want to say it was in 2006; I do remember it was back when MySpace ruled social networking. I couldn't stop playing her song "Fuel" which I think is the coolest song.
