OK, you know how to pique my interest. I listened to the youtube performance you linked to (lovely song, BTW), but just by ear I don't think I was able to pick up on what you're referring to. The only thing that stood out to me is that the chord progression in the 'B' section (e.g., 1:42-2:00) consists of sets of descending chords, and the first note of each set descends as well. So it's kind of like going down 4 stair steps, then jumping up 3.5 steps and going down 4 more, then jumping up another 3.5 steps and going down 4 more, and so on. But that's all I got.
