I also loved My Sister's Keeper! It's been quite a while since I read it but... 10-Sep-2013 22:58:06

... It's so beautifully written and sad. I've never gotten around to reading P.S. I Love You - but the movie wasn't bad.
Outlander (I'm sure it has been translated into Spanish...) ... Um well, it sounds a bit crazy but I swear it's amazing!
It's about a woman who visits a stone circle in Scotland and gets transported back in time 200 years. Circumstances end up forcing her to marry a man in the past who she ends up falling in love with. And that just sounds like a cheesy romance novel description... But I swear it's SO much more than a romance story.
I don't want to share too many more details because I don't want to ruin it in case anyone wants to read it!
There is a lot of Scottish history in the books and the writer has really done her research and made an effort to be historically accurate. Obviously, the main characters are fictional - but all of the historical events are accurate.
The books are really long (and fair warning - there's 7 now I think
) but read very easily - especially the first few.
And no problem! I'm always looking for new books to add to my list as well.
I haven't had much time to read the last couple of years between working, getting my Masters, moving overseas, and planning a wedding.
I'm enjoying getting back to reading more again!
P.S. Excuse any typos... I'm on my phone. ![]()
