When I think about it, this is a situation that I imagine we all face. How often do we encounter this in life: that tendency within us to use a bad situation to excuse bad behavior? Or use a bad situation to lash out at someone we love, unleashing the words we wish we could take back but can't.
Thanks for passing along this link, Bea. Good songwriters will express thoughts and feelings that we all experience, maybe saying it in a way that makes us more aware of them. Aaron Thomas has done this, I believe.
