I'm VERY excited about this soon-to-be released CD, Foreverly, featuring Norah Jones and Billie Joe Armstrong (of Green Day). It's "a collection inspired by Songs Our Daddy Taught Us, an album of traditional Americana songs reinterpreted by The Everly Brothers in 1958. Reprise Records will release the album on November 25th." More info here:

The other recent collaboration I like is a pretty song written and performed by both Kina Grannis and Marié Digby called, "The Keeper".
