I can't recall how it resolved. I think there's some type of plugin needed, maybe. I thought that perhaps you knew about that iTunes concert from Colorado, but I wasn't sure, so I thought I'd mention it. Glad I did!
Yes, Nathan and Scott have played so much together they seems to each know what the other one will do. It's a fun thing to see!
As for Bertolf, he's actually quite excited about the fact that he can write music knowing that guitarist Bas Wilberink, who has a fine tenor voice, can handle the higher ranges. Whenever he was writing for his solo work, he had to be cognizant of the limits on his vocal range. Bertolf and Bas did a lot of writing together for the upcoming Color Reporters album. (The name Color Reporters comes from a lyric in the song Bled White by the late Elliott Smith.)
Recording one of the songs from the new album (I think the song may be called "Even the Bad Ends Badly"):
Clips of songs (in demo form) from the upcoming album can be heard here: http://youtu.be/Oi1eABj1dVw (I like what I hear... interesting chord changes and also lots of harmonies)
He's also touring with Her Majesty (the Beatles cover band). The first half of the concerts consists of a live performance of Abbey Road and the second half is a "what if the Beatles had not broken up?" consisting of the band performing the solo work that followed the break up in 1970 - songs like "Maybe I'm Amazed", "Imagine", "Instant Karma", and "It Don't Come Easy"
Her Majesty made this fun little video of "Dear Boy" from McCartney's Ram album:
In the summer at the Concert by the Sea, Bertolf played a concert with a well-known Dutch band called BLØF during which he sang a cover of "Hey Jude":
Before all of this, Bertolf Lentink released a Dutch album with comedian/musician Kasper van Kooten, calling themselves Harde Noten (Hard Nuts). They also toured with show with comedy and music. One of the songs on the album is a beautiful song called "Zusje" ("Sister") and, though not really translatable, is about the special relationship between brothers and sisters over time and the love that exists but is not always readily expressed.
The video features film from their own childhood.
Bertolf has been keeping busy since his third solo CD and his announcement that he was stopping as a solo artist (at least for now).
About the videos by Iliff, I noticed some songs by Chelsea that I hadn't heard before!
