Nice song -- I always seem to like these 3/4-time Celtic pieces.
And thanks for the heads-up on the composer‘s web site. So far I‘ve only skimmed it briefly, but it looks like it will be right up my alley. I like how he intersperses text and musical scores -- it‘s interesting to see written out the music that he‘s talking about.
There was one part where he mentioned changing the harmonies while the melody stays the same, That‘s something I want to learn more about. The Corrs do this in Summer Sunshine: “To sweet beginnings and bitter endings” is heard twice in the song, once near the beginning and then again in the bridge over a different chord progression. I hadn‘t known you could do that!
