Sorry I am too slow, but the Irish band Pugwash is starting a U.S. tour. They played the states earlier in the year, but I wasn't up to speed on them. Some friends have seen them and raved over the band. Melodic pop with some Beatles and XTC overtones to me from my limited exposure to their music. I advance ordered my ticket to see them Friday at Molly Malones in Los Angeles, because I was told they were selling out during their earlier tour and having very good reviews. I was going to suggest them to Cara for an artist recommendation, but been kind of busy. http://www.bandsintown.com/Pugwash
Incidentally my friends, the Cherry Bluestorms are supporting Pugwash in San Diego and Los Angeles. I think it's a very good bill.
