You're welcome, Steve. I really liked the flute harmonies on the Billy Joel cover too. 13-Oct-2020 04:55:19

When I came across their cover of "Dreams" - yes, definitely in the style of the Corrs - I thought that this would be a good place to share the music of a sibling band that is doing great work during a difficult time for musicians. I'm glad to have added some activity here at the Corrs Club.
At their Facebook page, the have other video including a short clip of "No Frontiers" https://www.facebook.com/RobinsonStone.Music/videos/628993208028413/, where they write:
The Corrs have always been a huge influence for us being a band of siblings like ourselves. We have all of their albums and love performing their songs! We first heard this one watching their unplugged concert and loved the harmonising Sharon Corr and Caroline did on it, so this is our homage to them!
One of their other great influences, singer-songwriter Clifford T. Ward, is perhaps is not as well-known as he should be for his greater body of work. Instead, he is largely recalled for a few successful singles that he had in the early 1970's, such as "Gaye" and "Home Thoughts from Abroad." He is very little known in America, but his music still has ardent supporters in the UK and Ireland. His lyrics are interesting. At one time he was a schoolteacher, and sometimes he used words in his songs that I have never heard in any other song (such as "nonpareil" in his song "Wherewithal").
From the same Robinson-Stone concert, here is another Clifford T. Ward cover of "Still Not Free":
Robinson-Stone have another online live concert coming up dedicated to the music of Clifford T. Ward.
As a part of their series of studio, covers Robinson-Stone also made this video of a song by an Italian artist, Jack Savoretti, called "Changes" written during this current CoVid-19 epidemic:
