...I came across this one. I first heard of this group of pro musicians based in Moscow from their covers of songs by the American band called Chicago, but here they cover "Superstar":
For me, it's not so much an exercise in making comparisons of Ksenia Buzina's voice to that of Karen Carpenter as it is a way to appreciate all the musical elements and instrumentation went into original production.
This same music group performing a cover of Chicago's "Just You 'n' Me":
That this Russian group can find enjoyment in making such music is a testament to the potential of music in bringing people together.
