This singer, Zolene Mayberry (or just "Zolene"), is from County Larne about 75 miles (120 km) up the east coast of Ireland from Dundalk. I've been following her progress for a good number of years.
Here, recently, she sings "Nobody Does It Better," a song that Carly Simon recorded for a James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me (1977). I always thought that Carly Simon (a great songwriter) wrote this, but in fact it was written by Marvin Hamlisch and Carole Bayer Sager (Carol Bayer Sager teamed with the Corrs to write the song "I Never Loved You Anyway.")
Zolene has done a lot of singing and playing since a young age when she sang with her late father, also a fine musician**. Along with her brother, they did all kinds of gigs. During that crazy year of 2020, Zolene made this video of the song "Blue Bayou."
Even before that, in 2016 (hard to believe it's 8 years ago now), Zolene made this video of a '70s song noted for Minnie Riperton going up to hit a super high note of F#5. Needless to say, it requires some vocal range to pull this one off!
The first song that I heard Zolene sing was a song written by Bill Allen and Paul McNeilly called "The Antrim Coast Road" which is available at iTunes - Zolene later made this video of the song using a drone to capture some of the beautiful scenery:
