It sounds to me as if this song is about an abusive, or at least unpleasant, relationship. Who does "you" refer to? It's certainly not the person the singer is in the relationship with, who is referred to as "he". Is "you" a friend? God? The singer's inner strength?
If this is indeed what the song is about, that would suggest they did not write this song for Pepsi, but rather just gave Pepsi an existing song. I wonder if Pepsi realized what this song was about when they ran it in their ads? Also, I can't think of any other Corrs songs on a similar topic; I wonder if that's why they didn't include it on a regular album but instead gave it to Pepsi.
